Answer the question, “Why am I going to college?”
Many college students really don’t have a clear reason for being there other than the fact that they don’t know what else to do yet. They inherit goals from family and peers which aren’t truly their own. That was how I started college. Is this you as well?

One good piece of advice is to actually look at jobs and see what qualifications they want, especially if your interest major is something broad like Chemistry.

ReplyDeleteGod so true. I wish that there wasn't such a stigma on trade schools here. There are so few people in the US who I would consider "artisan" or "master" of a trade. Everyone just goes to college and knows a little bit about everything and is totally useless.
